Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the ACM Augmented Humans Conference (AHs 2025) in Abu Dhabi at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), where we showcased our latest research on bioimpedance sensing for facial gesture recognition! Our demonstration, Facial Gesture Recognition using Bioimpedance Sensing, explored how subtle facial muscle movements can be detected and translated into interactions unlocking new possibilities for hands-free control in assistive technology, gaming, and beyond. We had an amazing time presenting our work, engaging in insightful discussions, and connecting with fellow researchers pushing the boundaries of augmented human capabilities. A huge thank you to the organizers, attendees, and everyone who stopped by our demo! Stay tuned or more updates as we continue to innovate in the wearable domain with STELEC technologies! contact: Mengxi Liu (mengxi.liu@dfki.de)
